What am I, down to one post a week now? Hoho. I want to keep updating you with lots of happenings in my life, but I either can't find the time or the internet on Catch acts up.

Well, what's been happening? Nothing very interesting, I'll say. The highlights of this week was Year 9/10 going on their one week camp, me joining Tindesley (sp?) tennis and me playing the guitar part of Stand By Me for my house for Clubs&Choirs.

I would return back from school to the boarding house with an empty mind. I do mean, an empy mind. I don't think about anything. I don't remember anything. When a mistress asks me upon my return, how was your day, Rae? I stand there wondering what my day was like and how I felt about it. Without fail, I never think of something to describe my day. It's not that I can never find a word. It's because I don't know what to say.

So, after showing myself at the door on my return from school, I trudge my way to my bedroom, plonk my books and bag down, loosen my tie and untuck my shirt. From then on, the moment I loosen my tie or drop my bag, I live a pointless 3 hours. I have nothing to do. I pick up the guitar, occasionally. Practice In Christ Alone and God Is Our Strength And Refuge for the upcoming St Caths 150th Anniversary Cathedral Service next Sunday. Socialise with some other socialites down with the mistresses. It's nothing interesting or productive ('cept for the guitar practicing).

I heard that bird flu has arrived in Kuala Lumpur. I'm a little worried at the thought of it. I just hope and hope every day that everyone I know who is having chicken for dinner or lunch or whatever has it cooked at the right temperature. Don't you find it strange that one single BIRD can get sick, and then pass it on to another bird and another bird and so forth? It's a funny little concept, because birds literally surround us. I quote Juju, "They're infiltrating the system!" Oh, won't they! Before you know it, sick birds will govern us, humans, and we will be under another Mao Revolution of communism. We will be forced to learn the millions of bird dialect like pigeon and flamingo, and the history of the modern and ancient bird. Oh, can you imagine it?

You know, The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald wasn't bad at all. I actually, in the end, sprouted a liking for the book. It's a great text of social commentary of the 1920s, and I think Fitzgerald did a great job. If you're looking for something deep and literature-like, check it out.

Battery on Kwan's laptop is dying. I better be going.

Cheers.
